Hi Guys:

I am planning on taking my family down and renting points to stay at a DVC property the first week in December (planning early--works great to keep the kids in line--lol). We will be a group of five including three kids (ages 10, 7, and 4). We would like to stay at either Beach Club or Boardwalk given the proximity to Epcot. Do you think we could fit in a one-bedroom? can we rent/borrow a rollaway?

I realize there is a forum for just renting, but I thought the questions I had were best directed to the group at large since they are not individual to renters, so I am posting here. if I should post elsewhere, please let me know.

Thanks for the help!!

Nick

Welcome to the DIS and the DVC Boards.

DVC does not provide rollaways or any additional bedding. Member Services currently allows 5 in a one bedroom unit, but you must supply an air mattress or sleeping bag for the 5th person, and they also will not supply additional towels or linens. Additional towel packs can be purchased from housekeeping for $6.

The exceptions, so far, are non-value class one bedroom units at AKV and all one bedroom units at BLT. These rooms have a king bed, sleeper sofa AND a pull out sleeper chair. Linens and supplies will be provided for 5 people.

As occupancy is a hot topic on the DVC boards, we limit the discussion to the DVC Occupancy Thread. You may continue the discussion there, if you wish.
