Questions about 4-night Dream cruise

We got off the Fantasy a few weeks ago and booked a placeholder while onboard. We are thinking about cruising the Dream for 4-nights in the fall of 2017. I'm a little nervous that the cruise will feel short but this is what works best and will enable us to spend a few days in Disney. What is the dining rotation for a 4-night cruise? I'm assuming that you eat in one restaurant twice and the others once. (I just want to make sure we'll get to eat in all three of them). Also, what shows play on the Dream? Does Animator's Palate have the animation show like on the Fantasy? Are there any major differences between the Dream and the Fantasy? We love the Fantasy and I'm nervous to try the Dream but I can't imagine they'd be that different.

TIA!

Most recently the rotation has been 1223. ERRA; RAAE; AEER.

The second night in the repeated dining room is Pirate night.

The shows are Villains Tonight, Golden Mickeys, and Believe. The "show" in Animator's is the Crush show.

While the Dream and the Fantasy were originally a bit different, the recent drydock added many of the "different" things that the Fantasy had the Dream didn't (Satellite Falls; Funnel Puddle, for example). As well as new things (Vanellope's; changes in the kid's clubs). So they are more similar now.

Thank you!

Are there formal and semi-formal nights?

there are a lot of people that dress up on dress up night, I was impressed and surprised... there were a great number of people who don't dress up as well

Golden Mickeys is awesome!
