Questions about 2 park preferred pass

I assume that this is the one that the code APH refers to. Since I might be purchasing one to get good rates at RPR, what will I receive when I purchase this online? How good are the discounts?

I'm still undecided as to whether this is a good deal or not. The pass is $169.95 and the rate at RPR is $197/night. With AAA the rate is $175/night and I can purchase the 5 day bonus pass for $94.95 for all of us. FAN rate at RPR is only $164 but I have no way of getting a Fan Club card.

By the way, the Universal website mentions purchase an annual pass and receive the second year free. Sounds good to me!

Pick the hotel that you want most to be at or can afford. Then once you have booked your room check weekly or bi-weekly on rates. The rates I started out with 4 months ago aren't the rates I have today. I went from 209 a night to 119 a night at the RP. It was only thru continual checking that I was able to get my rates lowered. My rate by the way was The annual Pass Holders Rate. My dates by the way are May 24 - May 29

I was interested in the Pref. AP with the 2nd year free until I checked the fan club site. There are samples of the Burger King and Coke coupons that you need to find and then input the codes to use. The fine print says it must be purchased by 5/31/04 and redeemed by 6/30/04 (two darn weeks before our vacation!) If you're planning to go to US by 6/30/04 it sounds like a great deal....even if you never got to go back next year. I am assuming that the coupons would be available at any Burger King and maybe at coke displays in stores?
