Questions about 1900 PF

We went in 07' & loved it. When we starting planning for this trip that is the one place the whole family agreed on again. They prime rib was good, I loved the muscles & the strawberry soup was amazing. The characters were great kept our kids entertained. I can't wait to return. I plan to have a Birthday cake brought out for the kids so that should make it even more special.

We went in Jan......2 adults. Waited 45 minutes with an ADR

Sat in the back by the entry door along the wall. One step sister was great, the other rushed right by and no one else visited us.
The food was one of the worse buffets we have had at WDW.
And the place was dirty and kids were laying and playing all over the floor blocking the walk way
We will not go again.

However, we have been for breakfast and that was great. Good food and great character interaction. Mad Hatter is a hoot

so torn cause the reviews are all over the place for both of these....what should I do?? I have two kids...dd5 and ds 11 if that changes anyones opionion.

I haven't done Ohana, but hoping to do it in December. Last year I did 1900 PF and we didn't really enjoy it. Of course my daughter love the characters, but we were seated on a wing off the main room and felt like we were in a closet and the food was just not great. This year we are hoping to book the Princess Storybook breakfast in Epcot instead. I don't hink I would return to 1900 PF again. I am glad that I did it once as the stepmother and sisters were really a hoot, but that is really the only positive in my opinion.

To build off a comment from a pp, it's as if Cinderella and Prince Charming got married and had the reception at the Marriott.

The food was typical hotel buffet fare. The character interaction was great. My DD and DS both loved it so it was totally worth it for us, but I was sorry I skipped snacks to save room for a big meal.

I agree with everyone so far. We were 45min. being seated with an ADR. the food was typical. The characters were amazing, evan my DS liked if and he hates everything princess. Its the step-sisters they made it so much fun. We'll be going again!!!!!

Going in November, really for the characters, good food would be bonus!

hard choice we did both last trip. The characters are awesome at 1900 but Ohana's is better food and more relaxing (at dinner) breakfast at Ohana's is a blast and the foods great. If i had to choose I would do Ohana's for breakfast! Hope i've help!

Took my 6 and 12.5 nieces to 1900 PF, they loved the characters but we all hated the food...I would go with Ohana, the food there is great!

I cannot address 1900PF, but we did Ohana last week. We had two adults, a 10yo, 8yo, and 16 yo. It was good bc there was a variety of food, lots of it, and there was some entertainment to break it up. I will definitely return to Ohana next trip!! HTH...

Your DD would LOVE 1900 PF. My DD did. The characters are awesome. Cinderella, the prince, the stepmother and stepsisters....all in their 'character'....The food wasn't that bad either. It was GREAT!

We did both a few weeks ago. I have two boys who cringed at the thought of having dinner with Cinderella. However, despite the negative reviews, we loved 1900 Park Fare! We had been there about 4 years ago and were turned off by the food. This time, we really enjoyed it. The character interaction was awesome. The stepsisters and stepmother were awesome! But, we also loved 'Ohana. Dinner isn't a character one, though. They do some games and give out leis, etc. I can't really compare the two as they are so totally different. But, both are great, in my opinion!
