Questionable clothing in the parks - would this shirt be allowed?

My question is about a t-shirt that my son has. The image is a Mickey Mouse that has been morphed with Cthulhu. (See below) Would this shirt be allowed in the parks or should we save it for our Disney Springs Day? And if a shirt is considered objectionable - do they let you turn it inside out?

I don't see a problem with it. My dh and ds wore a mix of walking dead and Star wars and nobody had a problem with it. The people who "got" it loved it.

I doubt anyone would worry about it. I've seen way crazier shirts than that in the parks. As long as it's not vulgar there is usually no issue.

I was wondering if they have any rules about altering Mickey's image. I think he is pretty cute as an octopus beast.

Love the image, I can't see there being a problem with it. In answer to t-shirts being turned inside out, dh wasn't thinking (I'll blame jetlag!) and wore a t-shirt that had a vintage playboy magazine cover on it to ak and they just asked him to turn it inside out.

I have several different jerseys with drunk Mickey and drinking Mickey and no one has ever said anything - well sometimes people have asked where they could get one but nothing else.

I'm having a similar concern. I made DH a birthday shirt that's a mug of beer with Mickey ear-shaped foam and Disney font. I know it will probably be fine but it's still on my mind!

My dh said he always thought that you could not wear anything that altered the actual appearance of Mickey or the other characters. Sounds like he was wrong. Wouldn't be the first time. LMAO!!

Thank you so much - he has always loved octopus and squids so this was a win, win shirt!! I am sure (character) Mickey's reaction to the shirt will be interesting in any case!

Altering Mickey could be trademark infringement, but it doesn't sound like Disney is sending lawyers to the parks to harass guests.

About the only thing not allowed in the park is something with a profane word on it (think George Carlin and the seven words never said on TV although most are said now anyway). That shirt is more than fine.

One thing the Junior High (now Middle School) principal told my son's class before they entered those hallowed halls made perfect sense to me. "We allow T shirts and jeans but we do NOT allow T shirts that have anything on them you cannot do legally."
