Questionable clothing in the parks - would this shirt be allowed?

I bet he'll actually get a lot of compliments on that shirt! He should be fine to get in the parks wearing it.

Is there a hidden meaning behind it? I might be out of the loop. Last year my DS 17 wore a "Make America Great Again" shirt to Universal one day. He got so many dirty looks and comments (not surprised at all) I told him I would burn it if he wore it again lol

Look up cthulhu.

I saw a guy wearing a "Mouse of 1000 Corpses" shirt at Epcot a few years back. It took the "House..." DVD cover and put Mickey's face on it.

When I saw the shirt in this thread, I thought it was Mickey as Davy Jones :)

I did and as a 54 year old woman, I had absolutely no idea what the word meant but the image, to me, isn't offensive at all. There are no word on the that T shirt, just an image. If a mind is developed enough to know what the image means and someone is offended, than that person can just look away.

I'm with you that the shirt is fine, but your comment about just looking away if you are offended is ridiculous. You could then apply that same thought to shirts with nudity or profanity on them, and we know that kind of thing is not park appropriate.

I'm a 52 year old extremely conservative grandmother and I think it's fine. I looked up the "word" and still don't see the big deal. It just looks like an octopus on Mickey to me. It would be especially cute to wear to one of the Halloween parties. I TRIED to find a problem with it, just couldn't.

I don't agree with you that it's a ridiculous comment. It's my opinion and I have seen "offensive" shirts, in my opinion, and I have just looked away. One person's definition of "offensive" is not another person's. Which is why the OP posted the question on the board and has gotten different opinions. Now the OP can make a decision based on what has been offered.

There is a satanic cult that worships Cthulhu but that wasn't Lovecraft's intention when he wrote his stories. Weird people will worship weird things (I'm looking at you, scientologists lol)

There are also people who claim "Jedi" as their official religion too. Like you said....

Cthulu is harmless in the context most people refer to him. He's just a monster from some sci-fi/horror novels.

Oh wow I was not aware of the Jedi thing! I am surprised there aren't people out there who have converted Stephen King's writings in to a religion (I'm not even gonna lie, his stuff would make a heck of an interesting one lol)
