Does anyone know what the price for an AP is (or will be) for 05? Also, what the price for a 7 night hopper will be in 05? My 11 month window is coming up and I want to be sure I plan as best I can. What I spend/save on AP's may determine whether my DD gets to bring a friend or not. Thanks for all your help!!

Here is a link to WDW Ticket Prices here on the DIS.

You'll need to deduct the DVC discounts available (AP,PAP, UPH) from the "before tax" amount to get the actual total, but just deducting the discount amount or % will get you pretty close for each.

Thanks Doc. Didn't see any price on the AP's for 2005. Do you know when they'll be available? Thanks again.

Price increases are normally not announced in advance, with the 2005 UPH rates being the exception to the rule. In the last several years, prices have been raised about once a year. The last across the board increase was in March '04.

You'll be lucky to get 48 hours advance notice (completely unofficial) from sites like this when an increase is coming down the pipe. You can buy passes / vouchers now to secure the current pricing if you wish. Or you can just wait and pay the then-current price when your trip begins.

This may be a dumb question but do we take the 10% DVC discount off the "Gate Price" or the "Advance purchase price"?

Also, can we purchase tickets in advance and get the 10% discount or do we have to buy them at the front desk?

Thanks!!

I may be mistaken but I don't believe the AP or PAP has an advance purchase discount. It is listed under advance purchase price, but I think it is the same. So the discount is $100 off of what is currently $379 for an adult AP, $85 off of a child AP which is currently $322, $125 off of an adult PAP which is currently $499 and $106 off of a child PAP which is currently $424.

You will be able to purchase them through the DVC web site, Member Services or at Guest Relations at the Parks or Downtown Disney.

I'm sorry it appears that I got off topic on this thread! :( I jumped to the link that Doc posted about the ticket prices and when I was confussed about what to take the discount off I came back to this thread (forgetting that it was for APs) and forgot to state that I was inquring about the regular ticket prices.

Anyways.... I was curious about the 10% DVC discount and the regular park passes (not annual passes). Do we take the 10% DVC discount off the "Gate Price" or the "Advance purchase price" of UPH and/or PH?

Also, can we purchase tickets in advance and get the 10% discount or do we have to buy them at the front desk?

Thanks for the help... I need all I can get!

Currently DVC members receive a 10% discount off of the Gate price of the UPH. These passes cannot be purchased in advance. However, if you are arriving late or leaving early, you can drop the arrival and/or departure day from this Length of Stay pass, which will save some additional dollars.

There are no DVC discounts on Park Hopper or PH Plus passes.

Also, it's worth mentioning that the UPH discount could change, or be eliminated altogether, in light of the new AP discount. I'm sure solid information will be much easier to come by after the association meetings in 2 weeks.

Thanks very much for the information!!! Now I won't be so confussed when I try to determine the best tickets for our trip. I guess now I'll just wait until closer to our trip when official prices be a little more clearer.

Thanks!
