Hi, my name is Eddie and i'll be going to WDW on valentines day of this year for 6 days/5 nights with my girlfriend. We've both been to disney a couple of times but never in a resort. My question is....is it really difficult to get to the parks from the Carribbean Beach Resort? I'm kinda nervous about not being able to make my dinner reservation in the World Showcase at Epcot by 5pm when my plane is expected ETA of 10:38am. Any tips?

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! :teeth: :earsboy:

You should have no problem. You should be at the resort within 1 hour of arriving at MCO. Even if your room is not ready you can checkin - they will store your luggage for you.

Plenty of time to catch the bus and get to Epcot!

what about fulfilling my request of a non-smoking king bed room preferably in Jamaica? And presenting the ultimate park hopper tickets to us? Won't that take a while?

At checkin - even if your room is not ready they will give you your "room keys" these cards are also your UPH. You are then free to go to the parks. They will give you phone number to call if you want to check when your room is ready.

You can either calll from the park or just check on your room when you return in the evening. They do thiss all the time, so you will have no trouble getting to your dinner on time.

Remeber you room "request" is just that a request. They will do thier best, but it is not a guarantee.

Have a great trip!

We landed one year at 3 pm and stayed at CBR and we made our 6 pm dinner at DTD and we were able to go to our room first with luggage and all. You shouldn't have any trouble.

I wish we could get there at 10:30 am. The earliest for good ole Iowa is 2 pm.

this is my first trip with like...no parents and i'll be about 2500mi. away from anyone its pretty scary. What can i say...i live a sheltered life lol. Both my girlfriend and I are both 18 also. Told you i live a sheltered life...;)

Any good places to eat? They say that restaurant Shutters in CBR is under new managment and the food is very good. Anyone tasted it yet? Any other really good food places in WDW that you like? I need suggestions! :teeth:

You'll have no problem with your 5:00 dinner! I would suggest you try Boatwright's at POR. It is a great sit down restaurant, and it isn't too expensive. Also when you are at EPCOT try the Akershus in Norway for lunch. It is a buffet, and if memory serves it is only around 12.99 per person. I think you would really enjoy it. My absolute FAVORITE restaurants are BOMA and 'Ohana's. BOMA is in the AKL. BOMA serves african food buffet style, but be warned, it is spicy and you must be an adventurous eater to fully appreciate it. 'Ohana's is truly a jewel. It is located in the Polynesian. If you love steak, chicken, turkey, pork and shrimp you must try this, it is OUT OT THIS WORLD!!!! Both BOMA and 'Ohana's are around 21.99 per person I think, but well worth it!
