We are staying in Orlando next summer and going to visit a few places is universal worth it for kids under 7? or would you wait for a trip down the road when kids are older. Thanks

It's been my DD favorite park since she was 4! Spidey, ET, Simpsons, MIB! all of it!

I think it would just depend on the child and his or her individual interests. If you are asking is there enough to keep that age group busy, then yes.

For theming you've got Shrek, Despicable Me, Dr. Seuss, Dinosaurs, Harry Potter, ET, Barney, and a number of comic book and cartoon characters (Woody Woodpecker, Rocky & Bullwinkle, Spidermen, X-men, etc.)

For attractions, you've got 4d shows, live shows, stunt shows, 2 kiddy coasters, a number of different play areas including outdoor playgrounds, indoor discovery centers, and splash playgrounds, water rides like flumes and rafts, a number of kiddy rides like a carousel and a slow moving glider ride, a tea cup type ride, and a dumbo type ride. There are also a number of other rides a child that age may or may not be able to do based on height, and how easily they scare.

I think you could easily pick out enough stuff for a 7 year old to do to last you a couple of days.

What types of things is your child interested in?

Depends on the children..if you have adventurous children that make many of the height requirements, absolutely. If you have extremely timid and smaller kids, waiting makes sense.
