I think this person had her questioned answered. I did not, in all her posts, believe she was trying to "steal" or "hoodwink" Disney in any way.

I don't care if it's "free dining" or the paid DDP, it's still stealing whether Disney is losing money or not. I realize that some CM's may overlook or not notice the fact that an adult meal is being purchased at a child's price, and there are also CM's who kindly offer an adult meal when asked by a parent who's child doesn't find a menu offering that they like, but I believe that trying to hoodwink a meal is dishonest. I'm not trying to be argumentative, I'm stating my opinion, and I will not discuss this any further.

You have to try the Fruit Tulip in Sunshine Seasons. It's in the Land Pavilion at Epcot. You won't be disappointed. It counts as a dessert for the Quick Service Meals on the DDP

It was not my intention to be cheap or dis-honest --and we are going with the FREE dinig plan. If it is true that Disney lumps all your counter service credits together then they obviously don't feel that they are losing money if a child orders an adult sized meal.

The dining plan states that a child must order from the kid's menu when available.

If I wanted to upgrade my daughter to the the adult dining plan do I pay the difference to upgrade or would it be free? Honestly, I don't see my daughter eating chicken nuggets every meal for a week. She also isn't going to like 98% of the sides the offer. Also, we do not allow her to have more than 4-6 ounce of juice a day and she's lactose intolerant so we have to limit her dairy. I think the kids meals are kind of crazy for what they offer. I would love to upgrade her so she can order food she will actually like and eat.

Disney is fine with you uping your daughter's age to 10. You will only have to pay the difference between the child to adult ticket price for the amount of days you have.

If you need any help with the lactose intollerance, check out the DisAbilities Board. You can send an e-mail to specialdiets@disneyworld.com and they will send you information on the best CS places to go in each park to find food for your daughter. They will also send you a form that you can fill out with all of your ADR's and then pass it onto the chef's at the restaurants.

I took my niece (4.5 yrs and lactose intollerant) last year and she shared the CS lunch or dinner with me as there was a lot of food.

YES YOU CAN....Send items you purchase or win (stuffed animals included) back to your resort hotel room if you are staying on-site at a Disney Hotel, the Swan & Dolphin, and the hotels on Hotel Plaza Boulevard.

YES YOU CAN.... Send items you buy to be stored at the front of the park for pick-up at the end of the day if you so choose. This can be done no matter where you are staying, on-site or off-site.

To clarify squirrel's answer to momma mouse - you will have to pay the difference for whatever type of park tickets you have for the number of days you have. If you visit Disney again during a period with no free dining promotion while your child is still under 10 you can change their age back to whatever is their actual age.

Yes you can - share or switch items from your adult meal with your child. I let our DGD (7) have several of my desserts while I ate hers.

No I couldn't - possibly eat an entire ice cream sandwich from the Main Street Bakery by myself.

That really depends on the person working the attraction. The two times I tried to use FP beyond the stated time we have been told no.

We almost always use Fastpass late and have never been turned down. Of the hundreds of posts I've read on this subject here on the Dis, only a very small handful have ever said they were turned away. And those were almost exclusively very popular rides at very heavy crowd times. We have even had CMs post on here and say that they are trained to accept late fastpass.

For CS meals this is most definitely true. The TS meals are another story, and should be because of their cost.
