i bought a shirt today that had this question on it:
if you choked a smurf what color would they turn?

really, what color would they turn?

It depends on what colour their blood is.
We turn blue/purple, because the deoxygenated blood in out bodies is blue... and that rushes to our skin.

Whatever colour their blood is when it's inside the body, that's the colour they turn.
