that was a photo collage I made of your family or photos I took of the area you lived in (if I knew you of course LOL) for Christmas?

I found this super cool collage program and I think I am going to make collages for people for Christmas of photos I've taken over the years. I have photos of all of my family members (and my husbands) as well as friends and coworkers.

In the past my family has been big on buying gifts and I've always been able to get good deals for my family members. This year D is just starting a new job and I am not yet working.

Anyway... opinions? I am a pretty good amature photographer... an example of what it could look like:

I would love something like that, especially photos of Arizona :teeth:

Photo things are awesome gifts. Especially if they are decorative. Actually, I think things like that are better gifts than stuff that um, just get returned.

I think that would be a cool gift to recieve cause it is something that you put together and put thought into it.

I have a ton of photos of my nephews on my side, and of course my own son (for my mom, dad and Grandma). I have some older photos of my neices from my husband's side of the family (plus some I took in August at a family reunion). So a lot of them would be of people over the years.

The scenery ones will be more for coworkers and friends :) whom I do not have people pictures of their family.

I would love something like that!
Especially from Skagway.

hint hint ;)

LOL

Do you mind me asking the name of the program? It looks really neat!!! Thanks.

I love whenever anyone gives me a framed photo as a gift, those are some of the best gifts. The collage even sounds like a better idea, because it would be more creative, and show that you put a lot of effort into it.

It would work well for me! :)

I think it's a great idea. I love a gift that someone took the time to create. I love pictures too. Can't get enough of them. Family, friends or scenery.

I think it's a great idea, very thoughtful. Most people LOVE photographs. I would just make sure that they were fond of the area they lived in ;) . If not, then a place that they did like - if you were able to get there, of course :p

I love the idea. Photos are one of my favorite gifts to receive. :)

The Program.... :D

I got the professional version just because SOMEDAY I want to sell my work....

I spent all afternoon working on a collage of 45 photos from Darren's Grandpa's 90th birthday weekend we had in late August. I want to do something for my MIL of her grandkids (2 girls, 2 boys) whom I adore.

Binny ya slay me :D I may have to see if I have to work on something for ya :D

Thanks. :)

I had downloaded that once before and never really did anything with it. Guess I will have to try it again.

A friend of mine built a new house last year, and her new neighbor gave her a collage of the stages of her house being built for a housewarming gift. She has it hung in her familyroom and treasures it. I think any type would be a really great gift from the heart.

Your photo gifts will be cherished! :teeth:

I think the photos will be some of the MOST cherished items your family members posses. It is a great idea!:sunny:
