Question- what to do with docs for group?

Just booked our 12/03/06 Wonder cruise. Who-hoo!! We have 7 cabins reserved. My question is should I have the docs all sent to me so no one forgets/loses/messes thiers? We all live somewhat close to one another so if they need to fill out their paperwork, I can get that done. My family is a bit unorganized when it comes to mail and stuff, in-laws are not. How soon in advance do the cruise docs get sent to you?

You won't get your docs until 2-3 weeks before you actually sail.

Everyone needs their docs in hand to enter the port/security etc.

I kept all of the Docs for those in our party, and we had multiple staterooms. I made sure beforehand all the needed forms were filled out and signed by each traveler, then I kept them with me. You will need to hand them out at the terminal check-in, at wich time everyone will get their Room Cards. After that, I collected everything, you will not need your docs again.

Docs come 2-4 weeks before the cruise. They seem to come later if you have DCL air, earlier if you did your own transportation. It will save a lot of time if everyone has them filled out ahead of time, etc. If you are concerned about people losing them, by all means have one person carry them, hand them out at the port for security and check in, then re-collect.

Remember that you'll have the same issues with passports/photo IDs--you need to be sure that each adult has his/hers.

Why not have a document party where everyone can fill out their stuff and hand it to you before the cruise????that way, you have all the signatures, etc. but YOU have physical custody of the documents.

Hmm.... a before cruise party sounds very nice! We are all deciding now who is bringing what on the cruise as far as cocktails go. I'm bringing the Malibu Rum!! I think I will hang onto the docs and make sure they are filled out ahead of time. Thanks so much!
