Hi there!

I'm psyched to be going to Disney World in September, and I'm trying to find every way possible to save money. :D

My husband and I have no kids, and it's over our anniversary. We are going to be staying at the All-Star Music Resorts - we've both purchased Theme Park annual passes (we're not water-park or bar fans, so we skipped the premium annual passes). We got a good rate of $60 a night including tax, and the Disney Club discount on the passes....

Now we are concerned about food....I keep reading about "Connections Vouchers" thoughtout this website, and was wondering what are they? Where do I get/buy them? Are they worth it?

Any other suggestions or recommendations would be highly appreciated!

A tad more info: We are flying (Delta) from Boston...Taking transfers from the airport....anyone ever hear of Tiffany Towncar? They're $85 rt and will stop at a grocery store for us...is that a good price? I don't want to do Mears because of the extra stops....

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to email me as well as post here!!

Thanks so much!!! :jester:

When we went in Dec we too used Tiffiany. They were great ! Our driver met us right at baggage and we were 15 early! Our Driver was very friendly and enjoyable. He stopped off at Kash-n-karry. It was a reg supermarket with reg prices! We didnt have to worry about hiked proces. I know you will enjoy them!
As for the connection couhcers I too am trying to learn more about them so sorry no info on those. hvae a GREAT trip! We will be there in sept too!:bounce:

Thanks DisneyDazed! That info on Tiffany is extremely helpful - my husband and I were trying to decide if renting a car would be better, but we really didn't want the bother (or the cost!).

Thanks again!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc

When in September are you going?

:p :smooth: :jester:

The best source of unbiased info on Connections is Mary Waring's website - MouseSavers. She has lots of good info on saving $$ at WDW, so if you haven't already, I'd recommend you spend some time reviewing all the info there. Here's a direct link to get you to the section on Connections:

http://www.mousesavers.com/connections.html

IMHO, Connections vouchers aren't worth it UNLESS you would normally eat (and pay for) big meals.

APs have lots of good discounts this year, including dining discounts. Here's a link to info on WDWIG (Deb Wills' site) that lists them:

http://www.wdwig.com/apass.htm

When you get there, scroll down the page to the benefits section.

There are also discounts associated with the Disney Club card. If you are a member of that program, Deb's site also has a listing of DC benefits.

HTH. Enjoy your trip!

Wow! Great Info!

Thank you SO much!!

Yes, I am a member of the Disney Club - plus I have an American Express Card which I understand can possibly get me discounts as well...

Sounds like I should be all set with everything I have. My husband and I are pretty cheap - we are talking about going to two or three sit down restaurants and food courts/take out for the others (and bringing snacks from home).

Thanks again!!!!
