Question That I've Always Wanted To Ask

Okay, this will be weird, but I've always wanted to ask.

This is really for bilingual people. Which language do you think in, your native or the one that you learned?

I love this.
I think in english, but however, if I'm in math class, I count in french in my head. If I'm surrounded by french people, I think in french.
It just depends. But I usually count in french.

i can count in spanish!!!! i love spanish!!!! omg - my brother told me i should get a job at mcdonalds bc i can speak two languages. excuse my randomness everyone...i'm too wackkkiieeeeeyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have always wondered this too. When I asked a little boy from Belgium (sp?) if thought in French or English, he ran away crying . I don't know. I'm not that ugly.

It does, and it's so natural for me. Usually I'm doing my math in class, which is a french environment. At home, the worksheets given and directions are in french, so I just think 'french.'

i think/talk in english most of the time, if i want to tell my brother something ill tell him in spanish so my parents dont know what we are talking about. when i get mad i mumble to myslef in spanish

The french words for the numbers sounds so pretty. I never thought I would think of numbers as pretty, then I learned how to count in french. lol

It depends. Like if I'm asked a question in German the answer usually pops into my head in Norwegian, and then I realize it and I try again and go to English. And if I'm asked a question in Portuguese, I usually think in Italian. Or vise versa. Its very odd

english, except when we are driving around or shopping, or in german class, i try to think in german...im learning the pronunciation of all the letters and vowels and all that so im learning how to speak right...then ill learn what words mean...lol...its fun to say the alphabet over and over again in german...
