Question: Selling Unused WDW Tickets?

Hi all,

I purchased some WDW tickets a couple years back and was never able to use them. Can one sell unused tickets and if so where (ebay?)? Thanks for your advise.

I tried selling two, 7-day PH tickets on Craig's List last year. They were already discounted off both the WDW and UT prices, because I bought them before a price increase. I was hoping to get back what I paid for them, but all I got were spam replies, and very low ball offers. When I first listed them, I didn't realize that I could return them to UT for a restocking fee of (I think) 5%. I ended up returning them to UT. You may have better luck on EBay? I don't know, but Craig's List was a huge waste of time.

Editing this to add that personally, I would never buy tickets off either EBay or Craig's List. It's kind of funny that I tried to sell tickets that way.

Totally agree about buying on Craig's or Ebay. I just wouldn't do it. I've bought lots of nice items like CDs, shirts, etc. that were authentic Disney. But I wouldn't trust buying anything like that if I couldn't see it in person first. Too many people out there trying to pull a switch. I used to look just out of curiosity, but with all the complications and possible types of tickets now, I wouldn't chance it. Check where you bought them and ask.

If you cannot return them, find someone you know that will buy them. It will be extremely difficult to sell them to a stranger. Too many scammers have ruined it for the honest people.

You can sell them, but buying used tickets is pretty risky. It's impossible to know if you're being scammed until it's too late.

It would make a nice gift for someone. (*cough, *hint, *nudge, *wink). Otherwise they never expire if it is unused, do you have reason to feel that you will never go?
