Question(s) about things to purchase in the parks!

Hello all!

It has been a few years since I have been in WDW, and I have a few questions about the things that are currently for sale at the parks and resorts.

When I was there in the past, they always had some kind of special offer at the shops; if you spent X amount of dollars in a single purchase, you could purchase another specific item at a special price. I believe that during my last visit you could pick between a tote bag, a beach towel and a watch, depending on how much your transaction cost.

Do they still do this? And, if so, what are the current offers?

Also, I was interested in Magic Bands. I have seen a few posts while lurking that talked about different (I believe they were themed) Magic Bands that were available for purchase in the parks and resorts. The one that I am most interested in was red, and had white polka dots (Minnie Mouse themed). Are these themed Magic Bands still available for purchase? If they are, does anyone know where to point me so I can see what is available? And where they can be purchased!

I don't know about the special offer, but I did see the "minnie" MB at HS around the middle of May. Not sure if it was a limited release or not. But, you can probably find it at any of the places that sell the MB, assuming it wasn't LR, in which case it might be harder to track down.

I was there the first week of this month & the purchase with purchase was a WDW backpack that was red/white/yellow on mostly black, and a starter pin set with lanyard (I forget what exactly the pins were). I think both were $19.95. They have MBs everywhere it seems, and I do know the one you're talking about because I wanted it but never remembered to get it. The Emporium on Main Street at MK has an entire wall of them! Try there!

They had a WDW beach towel last week, though I don't recall the price.

Excellent! Thanks everyone, for your input! I'll know exactly where to go for the Minnie Magic Band - and I will be on the lookout for the WDW beach towel! I hope that it is still being offered in late September.
