My brother lives in Jacksonville and said that he'd like to come visit us at YC and tour MK with us one day while we are there. Is there any restriction to having him come up to our room? We are staying CL at YC and I know that he would need our kttw card to access our room/CL. Should I let the concierge know that he is coming in advance?

Let the front desk know the day before his arrival. You'll have to pay the $25 extra adult fee if he makes the total more than 2 adults. He will get his own KTTW then.

Not sure about concierge level....but there is no problem with him coming to your room and spending the day with you....I did that with my daughter.
He can come to room, park and take buses.....but he would not be permitted to access the pool or stay the night.

I just asked at the front desk and they were very helpful, but since you are staying at concierge...I would just ask them. Doubtful they would give him a kttw card to use....more likely they would call and advise you that he is there so you could come to lobby and bring him to room with you. I just met my daughter out front of the hotel

Thank you all! He's still not sure if he's coming for just the day or of it will be overnight but we are going to add him to the reservation just in case he decides to stay.

It's not a problem for him to visit CL room or not. They will likely offer to you the opportunity for him to access the ammenities as well. That is how I got hooked on concierge after visiting a friend in concierge and being welcomed by the staff. Just let them know and they may offer the ammenities or the opportunity to pay the nightly extra adult fee. I would wait until you arrive there and do it the day or so before.

We always stay CL and my brother lives in Boca. He visits us every time we are down in WDW. We advise the CM on CL that he will be joining us and for how many nights and we have to pay the $25.00 per night for him. They also give him a room key which has CL access as well. Make sure to tell the CM to advise the front gate that your brother will be joining you as well. Have fun.:flower3:
