Question regarding Tiana's ride vehicle.

I have ridden Splash Mountain many, many times with no problems. When I rode Tiana's last year there was clearly not as much leg room in the new vehicles as Splash had and I struggled quite a bit (I'm tall, long legs). If I recall, the front seat of the Splash vehicle was much more open since there wasn't a seat in front of it. Can anyone confirm that the front seat on the Tiana vehicle has the same "scooped out" portion that allows for more leg room? If not I think I may have had my last ride on it. :(

I thought they re-used the Splash Mountain ride vehicles??? Did they add more padding or something to make the passenger compartments smaller? I thought the only changes they made to the ride vehicles (other than maybe replacing the mechanical parts) were cosmetic??

Yes, I think they reused the main log, removed Brer Rabbit from the front, but they definitely feel tighter. Of course my knees don't bend like they used to either. Maybe it is more padding....or maybe I should see about that knee replacement. 😁
