Does anyone know what the fee is to park at one of the resorts? My husband is trying to work out a budget for our future trip next year and curious how much we will spend in parking to stay on site compared to staying off site and having to park at the parks each day.

Thanks!:car:

  • Disney Value Resorts: $13 per night
  • Disney Moderate Resorts: $19 per night
  • Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts: $24 per night
....and you say "next year" so who knows how much they will go up by then...

I think it now costs $22 a day for off-site guests to park a car at the parks.

No, the theme park parking fee would need to be less than the hotel parking to discourage day guests from parking at the hotels . . .if only day guests had to pay at the hotels . . .:furious:

Disney *should* charge day guests, but they won't because they want them to come spend money in their restaurants, bars and shops. So they are screwing their paying hotel guests instead.

Yep, and I'm sure the "adjustment" will be increasing rates offsite guests pay to park at the parks, not lowering the rates deluxe hotel guests pay. ;)
Exactly. They couldn't raise the park parking fee at the same time it wouldn't look good, so they will most likely do that soon.

The simple answer to that is a validation for dining or merchandise purchasers. That’s what they do at Downtown Disney at Disneyland. Free 3 hours with $20 merchandise purchase or 5 hours with dining or AMC Theater.

How does Disney really know that you have a car at the resort with so many people arriving via Magical Express?

I could see them doing a parking pass that hangs on your mirror or sticks to the window. There are a lot of places that do it that way. I’m not sure how else they could do it.
