Myself and the family will be going on our first Disney cruise on the Wonder in February (sooo excited!) and I've been researching a ton in preparation. One area of confusion I have is in regards to signing up my DS who's 11 for a kids club. The planning book I was reading stated that he can only attend the 1 club I sign him up for. Is that correct? At his age, he can attend Oceaneer club/lab or Edge. My other DS is 7 and I was hoping that he could attend both to hang out with his younger brother and then enjoy being with an older crowd when they need some time apart. Does anyone have experience with this and can confirm if it really is a one club only rule? Thanks in advance!!

11 yr Olds can go to either the club & lab [CLAB] or the Edge. Our son split his time between both on his first cruise after his 11th bday, but after that, was committed to the Edge. Our twin daughters are chomping at the bit as our 10/2 cruise is their first as Edgers. All our kids said there's not as much for the older kids in the CLAB. I encourage you to register both for the CLAB [twins are registered for this cruise] in case he wants to go. No registration is required for the Edge.

At age 11 he can be in both Oceaneer's Lab/Club (3-12) and Edge (11-14). For Edge he just needs to show up there and get checked off on the list. I'm not certain you have to register him for Oceaneer's or not.

DCL has overlap ages, between the clubs for kids who aren't sure what club they will be happiest in. At one time, you had to select one or the other, with the ability to make a one time change to the other, but then you had to stay with that choice. Now, however, he can go to both.

@CraftyWitch For your 11 year old, you would register him for the kids clubs, which include the Oceaneers Club and Lab, which your 7 yr old can go to as well. They would both receive the Mickey bands upon embarkation, which allow them to go to either of those two clubs as much as they want. Your 11yr old can also go to the Edge; you do not register him for the Edge; the first time he shows up, they will give him a sticker for his KTTW card, and he's all set for that club. Your 11 yr old can go to any of the aforementioned clubs as much as he likes. Your 7 yr old can only go to the Club and Lab (also as much as he likes). Have a great cruise!

Fantastic! I must have been reading old information. I'm so glad he can do both! Thanks for your help

This is a relief to hear! Thank you for clarifying and all the information. It's great that the boys can be together part of the time as well as make some friends their own age. Can't wait to cruise!!
