Question regarding hiring hair appliances?

Hey Maggie

Thanks so much for the offer of the straightners. I will easily purchase them from you, would you be able to send them here though? I would want to try them on my hair before I go to the States. My hair is really thick and only some straightners will work on my hair. I had all intentions of purchasing the new MK4's GHD's which are dual voltage, but they cost an awful lot of money, so this would save me a fortune. The ones I have at the moment are ceramic and heat up to 210 degrees.
Thanks again for the offer Maggie, let me know and I can see how to pay you:flower3:

Im fixing to head out to the yard sales but wanted to check and see how this was coming. No need to pay me-- i dont use it anyway (its been collecting dust for a year or two). It can be your bridal gift! Send me a PM with your address in the UK exactly as I'll need to write it on the envelope and ill get it to you the first of the week. Glad I could help you!

S-C... i got it in a box and will send it out first thing Monday morning.

Maggie, thanks so much:hug: Can you please make sure you put your return address on the box:flower3: Also I think if you label it gift when you send it, it goes through Customs in the UK much quicker.

I put both addresses on there for tracking purposes-- where do I need to write gift, just somewhere on the label?

No problem-- im so glad that you might be able to use it. Do you have a converter right now so you can try it out before you leave for your wedding?

I think there is a green ticket that the post office sticks on the parcel and it asks what the contents are. If you put in gift there, it should go straight through customs and I shouldn't have to pay custom charges either.
I should have a convertor here somewhere, if not I can buy one next time i'm in the city.
Again, thanks you so much:hug:

I filled out the custom form and made sure it said gift. It will take it a couple weeks to get there (im sorry)...let me know when it does arrive. hope you enjoy!
