Question Regarding DVC Resort Refurbs...

Hello...just bought DVC non-direct and our home resort is Boardwalk. I know there is a full refurbishment scheduled for 2023. I was wondering, how does this affect booking and availability? Do they shut down parts of the villa areas at a time? If there is no availability, does Disney make arrangements---let's say move you to Beach Club if you aren't able to get a villa at BW during the refurbishment? Just wondering how Disney handles this. Thanks in advance!

If BWV is full, you need to wait until 7 months to try and book a non-home resort.
