Question regarding Crush's Coaster and Indiana Jones.

First trip in July to Disneyland Paris.

I have been to DIsney World numerous times.

Can someone tell me what Crush's Coaster and the Indiana Jones most resembles?

At Disney World in Florida, my wife likes Big Thunder Mountain, Will tolerate Splash Mountain, has gone on Space Mountain (but doesn't care for it at all) And won't touch Rockin Roller Coaster or Tower Of Terror or Everest.

We are trying to decide if she could handle Crush and Indiana or if she should pass on them. Any advice is appreciated.

I don't think she would like Indiana Jones, it has inversions. Crush is very fast and spinning, and mostly in the dark if that makes a difference. Personally, I will try Crush but wouldn't go on Indiana Jones if you paid me!

I would definitely say don't do Indiana Jones. And definitely not the Space Mountain there! the viewing gallery is great fun though!

Crush made me feel sick

Indy has got an inversion but it is very quick aka you get on, it starts and it's finished in a few seconds lol

I agree. I did Space Mountain in Paris and hated it. It's like a much rougher version of Rock n Roll rollercoaster at WDW. I skipped Indiana Jones. I LOVED Crush.

I also liked Thunder Mountain Railroad a lot at Disneyland Paris.

I went on Indiana Jone, there was no queue. Although it was over in a flash it does take you upside down so only for rollercoaster fans really. I just wish it were longer!

I don't think anything compares to Crush.
On a few podcasts I've heard the commentors say they wish Crush existed at Disneyland/WDW
Crush IMHO is quite intense although no inversions

I guess Crush's could be described as being similar to Primeval Whirl at Animal Kingdom.

they're both spinning coasters, but Crush's is a bit faster and higher so is probably a bit more intense. Plus Crush's is in the dark for a lot of it, so it can be quite confusing...

I would say it is similar to Siera Seidwinder at Knotts Berry Farm and Spinball Wizzer at Alton Towers, but in the dark!!

Like others have said, if you don't like coasters don't try Space Mountain at DLRP, it is nothing like the WDW/DL ones. It is an inverted coster like RnRC. I was sure dissapointed when I rode SM at WDW after riding the one at DLRP!!

My Mum took me into the viewing gallery when I was little.... I cried for hours because I was terrified of it.... Guess thats what happens when you're scared of all things sci-fi!

I think Indiana Jones would be a no-go for your wife Bryon.... Crush might be ok if shes ok with lots of spinning (I've not been on either, but my brother in law to be loves Coasters!!)....

Can someone explain to me where the viewing gallery is and what you see. Several times I've looked for signs but not found them. I don't think I'll ever ride it but I would like to have look.

Indiana Jones is a doddle BTW, the inversion's over so fast you hardly notice it, it took a lot of persuading to get me to ride it again as I'd ridden it backwards on our first trip and I wasn't right for the rest of the day - that was truly awful. I can do IJ without thinking about it, but I shy away from RnR, that one I only do under sufferance.

I have not been to WDW but i have seen Primeval Whirl's videos and would say *no*. Crush is a lot (A LOT) quicker and spins a lot (A LOT) more

A lot of people who've reported back about Crush said the dark didn't make much difference- They still felt ill 'cause of the spinning......

IMO is greater. I keep saying that's the only ride that made me feel sick after i have beenand i am ok on teacups, Cars, RnR Space Mountain etc . I have not tried TOT yet though and i am scared to death by Dumbo and Magic Carpets lol
Am i stupid or what

For me, the darkness makes the ride a lot more disorientating. I've ridden Spinball Whizzer and Dragon's Fury at Alton Towers and Chessington and don't find them too confusing. Crush's on the other hand confuses me quite a lot and I never have a clue which way I'm going when riding it.

After doing a small amount of research, DLRP magic has confirmed what I thought. What used to be the old viewing gallery is now the fastpass entry.

If you really wanted to look though, you could almost certainly queue up with somebody else who wants to ride, then just hop over the train and make for the exit, as Space Mountain does at least start and finish at the same point. Just beware of the person you're with trapping you in the train and pulling the restraint down
