Good Morning!

I need a little help understanding all of the booking window info. I understand the 11/7 thing, but what is it about the 60 day before end of UY thing? Is it my understanding that I can't book a trip for the last 60 days of my UY within the last 60 days of my UY? Is this true for the 7 DVC resorts? For example, I have a Dec UY. I decide on Oct. 15th that I want to take a last minute trip for Halloween. There is space available at SSR, but am I not allowed to do this b/c I am within the last 60 days of my UY? Does that question make sense?

Also, what are my booking windows for the rest of the collection? IE: Cruises, other WDW resorts, DL resorts, Concierge, Passport, etc.

Thanks for the help. If it is true that I can't take a last minute trip within the last 60 days of my UY that will bum me out. Not that I plan on it any time soon, but it is certainly something to consider.

My understanding is the 60-day thing applies only to WDW resorts that are non-DVC. You can't book & stay within the last 60 days, but you can book before the 60-day mark & stay within the last 60 days. Hope that makes sense! :goodvibes

The 60 day rule does not apply to DVC resorts. It does apply to other WDW resorts. When you book outside of DVC to a resort that DVC has to compensate (pay for), they need time for CRO to book the equivalent DVC room in cash to offset the cost of the trade, That, in theory, is why they want the points "committed" prior to the 60 day mark.
