We are thinking about trying Universal Studios but are afraid there will not be enough things for a 4 your old to enjoy more then for one day.

Can anyone who has young ones and have spent a couple of days at US fill me in.

Their website really does not give a lot of info about this.

Thanks

we were there last May with our then 4 year old and 9 month old baby. We were in Orlando for over 3 weeks and did all the parks and whilst he enjoyed Disney and Seaworld - IOA was by far his favourite (and ours!:goodvibes)

I think it helped that we had bought him the Dr Seuss books, so he was familiar with the Characters. We could have spent days in Seuss' Landing alone!!! He also loved the play areas in Universal. For that age group they seem to be more interested in the playgrounds and water areas than the actual rides - and IMHO Universal does the play area thing better than Disney.

We were only there 3 days, but next year we will be returning for a week - I plan to introduce my son to Harry Potter before we go next time, which I am hoping will open up a whole new level of excitement for him!!!:goodvibes

Me and DH were there in 2002, but are going back with DS - 5 this year. I'm not worried about it all. From what I remember and have looked on the US site, there will be plenty for him to do - and we don't know too much about Dr Suess & friends. If your DS is like ours he will love all the rides especially the water ones if he can get on (my DS at just gone aged 4 last year went on T/Terror & loved it). I would go I'm sure you'll all love it

Thanks all.

I am guessing we can safely plan on spending a couple of days there without my little one getting board.
