Question re: Traveler's Checks

DH's boss offered to pay for our next trip to Disney in October. Yippee!!!
Anyway, the catch is...since I booked the Disney Visa 7 for 4 deal, I need to put it on my Visa to pay it off. The boss has given DH Traveler's checks to pay it off. I have NEVER used one in my life.

Can I go to the bank and "cash" them in... then deposit the $$ in the account to pay Visa?

I believe you can. Traveler's Checks are used just like cash.

You can take them to the bank and just deposit them in your account like you would a check. You would want to go inside though so the second signature is done in front of the teller.

Are they armerican express gift checks? We get those at work all the time and yes, they are just like cash. They don't expire, so you may want to save a few to pay for meals on your trip too!!
