Question Re: Southwest Airlines

I am not familiar with their site, so I have a question. I just looked at a departure from Providence, RI to Orlando. When the chart came back, it stated there was a promotional fare of $110.00. Next to the $ amount the "Round Trip Field" had an "X" in it. When I looked at the terms of the ticket, it stated that round trip was required.

So, since the "Round Trip" field already had an "X" in it - is the total cost $110.00 for the RT or is it $220.00? Sorry if I sound confused, but I would appreciate any help.

Hi! The easiest way to figure out flights on Southwest is to go under reservations. Put in your actual dates of travel & number of people. It will then come back with a list of available flights. Pick the ones you want then go to the next step to see their price - you are not obligated to buy at this point! Play around a little with traveling on different days of the week. Try to make it a non-stop flight - it is cheaper. I frequently go in to check and find the best rates. At times, I have found the flight to be cheaper than the price on the column I checked. I use Southwest all the time. You have to click each way. So if its 55.00 departing flight (promotional fare) and 55.00 on the return flight, it will be a total of 110.00. Just check the boxes, and go to the next page and it will give you more info. You wont have to book it at this time. There is another step to go for that. If you have 1-2-3 passengers checked it will give the total for all. Hope this helps.
