Is this correct?

Lose your MYW ticket, you are up the creek without a paddle.

Put MYW ticket onto room key card, lose the card, you get a replacement key card which includes MYW info still intact?

thanks.

I heard the opposite from GS. If tickets are on the room key, getting replacement tickets is more difficult.

It is ALWAYS a great idea to photocopy, or now at least take a digital photo of the numbers on the back of MYW passes, and store that copy in your room. The only way the tickets can be re-issued is with those numbers.

Actually I lost my daughters room key with her tickets on it on our 2007 trip, I only noticed I didn't have it when we got to Typhoon Lagoon. Guest services at TL checked my i.d. and the other key cards in the computer and we were able to enter TL. When we returned to the resort we were issued a new key with tickets on it without any problems. I was really surprised how easy it was. One of the many reasons over the years I have found to love disney.

And you are not out of luck if you just lose your ticket even if it's NOT on the room key.

Make sure you have either a photo copy or a "photo" of the back of the ticket and Disney can re-issue!

We bought our tickets through AAA and were told to keep the print out receipt as it has our ticket numbers on it.

So if I already have my park tickets(cards), can I add my room key on it?

Your tickets can be trasferred to your room key by the concierge desk in your hotel lobby, as long as the tickets are unused.
