When we visited the World in 2002, we purchased 6 day parkhopper plus passes. I just found them in a drawer last night which leads me to this question:

We used all of our days on the parkhoppers, but we didn't use any of the plus options because it was so rainy. I know that the parkhoppers never expired, but do the plus options? Is there any way to find out how many are on each card (they are the 100 anniversary passes with the magnetic strip).

Thanks!

Nope, the pluses don't expire either. We have 6 day hopper pluses also, from '01. We have just one plus day on each one. I double checked at BC desk when we were there last month, just to be on the safe side.

The only way to find out for certain what remains on a ticket is to have it scanned at WDW. When new, the 6 day PHP came with three plus options.

Thank you! Now, another question: My ds was considered a "child" then, but now by Disney standards, he's an adult. Can he use that card still? If not, can my youngest use it? (we didn't have a pass for him since he was under 3.)

I think we have 2 plus options on each card (at least that's what's printed on the back of the card). So all we need to do to be certain they are still valid is present them to the front desk at ASmo and they can tell us if we can use them??

That would be great!!

Your son who first used that ticket still owns that ticket. If he is 10 or 11 he can probably get away using the rest of the ticket as-is. Otherwise he can exchange it at no charge for an adult ticket with all of the remaining admissions still on it.

Your younger child may not use that ticket even though no finger scans were taken during the ticket's earlier use.

If it is simpler, your son may find out how many plusses are still on the ticket simply by trying the ticket in the turnstile until admission is denied. If/when the ticket fails, your son can add the plus pack to his new ticket or buy a separate admission.

The official answer I got from emailing Disney is that Disney will exchange the ticket for an adult ticket.

You could let your younger son use the ticket since there were no finger scans when you previously used it (even though tickets are officially non-transferrable), but it would be more cost effective for you to pay for the child's admission and trade the ticket you have for adult admissions.

I also asked Disney if the older tickets are good for admission to DisneyQuest since that is one of the plus options now. Unfortunately, the answer I received was no.
