Question re PAP with 2nd year free

I just bought one of these tickets for my DH. I am aware that, if the ticket is not used before 9/30 the ticket will activate automatically. But what I'm not sure about is whether the ticket will be activated when he first uses it or when it is collected from will-call.

Basically, he already has a power pass which is valid until 10/4 so we are planning to use that when we visit IOA and USF in August. But we were going to collect DH's new PAP while we were there.

My question (if I haven't lost you by now) is will the pass be activated when it is collected or not until 9/30 (as we won't be using it to enter a park before that)?

in that scenario, 9/30. they don't activate when you pick them up from will-call.

When we bought the Bealls B1Yr.G1Yr. they were to automatically activate by 12/31 of that year if you hadn't activated them yet. We picked ours up in early February and that is when they expire...the DAY in Feb. we picked them up....so, don't count on them "automatically" activating
