Question re: package discounts in general

I just read about the Disney Visa discount that runs until August 14th. As a Canadian, I'm hoping that this deal will be released to the general public next week. My question is about timing. If you were to check IN to your hotel on August 13th or 14th, would the discount apply to your entire trip?

Not for a room discount. You only get a discount off the nights included in the promo.

The free dining does work the way you describe, but not room only discounts.

Ohhh, so if I book a package with this Disney visa promo that includes park tickets & dining, it wouldn't apply?

The room discount deals can apply to a room only reservation OR a package.

In a package the room rate would be discounted but only for the dates covered in the promotion period if there are promotional rate rooms for those dates at your chosen resort. Your other dates would price at normal seasonal rates.

So, yes, you can most likely use the promotion for your package, but only get the discount on a couple of nights looking at your dates.
