Question re: MNSSHP tickets & refund?

Does anyone know what can you do if you have your tickets for MNSSHP already and then have to cancel? I think the tickets say there is no refund, so are we just stuck with them if we do have to cancel? Will they refund them?

There are no refunds on MNSSHP tickets. I have known them to trade tickets out for another date if you have to cancel, but otherwise, you're stuck with them.

That said, if there are extenuating circumstances -- a sudden illness, a death in the family, a blizzard that doesn't allow your plane to leave -- you could certainly make a case for requesting a refund, although Disney is still not required to grant one.

There have been people here on the boards who have sold their tickets if they've had to cancel, and I've also seen them on eBay.

What date are they for, and how many? I'm sure that you could sell them here or Ebay, especially since you've got so much time to find a buyer.

I was told last year after I purchased my tickets that there were no refunds and I was not allowed to trade them for a different date. The situation worked out for us as we were still able to work it out so that we could attend on the date we purchased tickets for. But the CM I spoke to was very clear that they could not be traded. Perhaps if I had called back and asked a different CM I would have gotten a different answer.

I agree, though, that if you would post the date your tickets are for, you'd probably find someone on the DIS that would purchase them from you. Ebay is also another good option, but you would have to pay the auction fees.

If they are for Halloween night, you will have no problem selling them as that night WILL sell out!

Thanks for all the replys! Switching to another date won't be an option, since we would be canceling the whole trip. I will look into selling them if we do cancel. Thanks!!
