I'm hoping that someone recently off of the Magic cruise to Port Canaveral can answer these questions:

Did you get paper tickets to WDW or were the tickets on your KTTW cards?

If they were on the KTTW did you get the ticket #s to enter into the MDE app?

When you arrived in PC did DCL organize disembarking scheduled bus times to WDW? Or was it a free-for-all?

Thanks in advance for any help/info that you can provide!

We are so excited to board next Saturday!!!!

The tickets are on your KTTW card. You schedule times to get on a bus. Should have been when you signed up for excursions if I remember correctly. You don't need to enter anything to the app. Your KTTW card will give you three past passes.

Last year the tickets were supposed to be on our KTTW cards, but instead we got paper tickets. I'm not sure if that has changed for this year.

As to your second question, you'll need to arrange this, and want to do so as soon as you possibly can. Under port adventures on the day that you are in Port Canaveral, you will choose the departure time for the park that you want to go to. When you disembark, you'll go quickly through customs, and then onto the bus that's going to the park you selected.

Thank you. e have already set our departure time from PC at 8 am. We are wondering if it is a madhouse to get off the ship or if DCL lets folks disembark according to their bus time.

We just got off the ship yesterday. We had the 7:15am bus time and the line to get off the ship appeared to wrap from mid-ship on deck 3 down to the aft steps/elevators, up to deck 4 and back to mid-ship. Our party was sailing in concierge which received priority debarkation so I don't know how long it took to actually get off. Customs was rather quick as they had a fair number of agents so I would assume the line moved pretty quickly.

We had a 715 bus to the studios. Lined up about 7 o'clock or so. The line moved very quickly, and the bus left no later than 730. I thought it was very efficient considering that almost the entire ship was getting off. Vern, on the cruise staff, told me that fewer than 50 did not disembark. The return to the ship is just as easy, with several buses arriving to the Magic Kingdom as the fireworks ended. It was kind of strange going back in through the terminal late at night with everything dark. It was also fun to see all the crew members who were taking a little advantage of early Black Friday sales coming back from Walmart with game systems and laptops.

FYI - my sister was not able to book the first bus to MK and instead booked the first one to Epcot. Once on board, she still could not switch as there was no space. However, before boarding the bus to Epcot, she asked again and was able to switch to the MK bus (family of 5).

You do want to book your buses ASAP once your window opens specially if you want to go to a specific park.

Your ticket is included in your DCL key. You can link it to your MDX account and then use any existing activated MB. You get 3 any time FP+ which don't require you to make reservations ahead of time. Just walk to any FP+ attraction.

Note however that if you have any other valid tickets in your MDX account you want to make sure you prioritize them before you enter the park since you may activate by accident another ticket and won't have your special FP+. Even worse, you could 'use' your unused tickets.

If you have an AP, no problem in entering the park with it, but you won't have the FP+ activated..
