Question re. dining perks for staying on-site

The Universal site says onsite guests get:

•Priority seating at select restaurants throughout both theme parks and enjoy first available seating at select Universal Orlando and CityWalk restaurants.

What is the difference between "priority seating" and "first available seating?"

Which restaurants in the parks and at CityWalk are included (or if it's easier, which are excluded)?

What have your experiences been using this perk?

I've emailed the RPR twice through their website form asking these questions but never got a response.

We stay usually in july, and with it being very busy do not see much in priorty seating, but hen everyone at the hotels prob using it to so you would be in a list.
What we do is, about 1 hour before we decide we want to eat go and put our name down wherever we decide , and usually works for us, rather than turning up and trying to get some where.

We have used the "next available seating" many times. It works very well at the Hard Rock Cafe as they had a totally separate line for on site guests. In some other restaurants it didn't work that well. It works well in the parks for sit down lunch places.

We used the priority seating at Margaritaville a couple weeks ago. The people ahead of us in line with the same party size were quoted a wait time of 50 minutes. We were seated immediately! This was on a Saturday night around 7.

i know they have it at Hard Rock too but we ate there on Wednesday night and their was no wait for anyone so it didn't matter.

Anyone know any other restaurants that are available for the perk, or any that are not?

The only ones i know are Bubba Gumps- Emerils & Porch Of Indecision, i am sure others will post if there are more
