We are taking our kids' families and grandkids (ages 9, 4, and 2) for our first "all inclusive family" trip to the Poly in mid-August for a week. (A total of 9 of us). One of the gals will be 6 1/2 mo. pregnant at that time. So excited, as this will be the first time for us at the Poly!

I couldn't help but notice the lack of shade umbrellas at the new pool and had an idea to purchase some detachable chair umbrellas to use at the pool. Shade is pretty important to all of us - but especially the 2 yr. old and the expectant mom-to-be. Because of the heat, we are planning on going to Rope Drop most days, late a.m. FastPasses, and then back to rest, swim and nap. I've not seen any threads regarding this topic. Do you think it would be a problem for us to attach a few (maybe 3 or 4) detachable beach chair umbrellas clustered together? We, of course, would be respectful of others' need to want to be in the sun... Just don't want to bake in the August heat at mid-day.

No way will this be a problem! I've seen similar things done at a few different Disney pools (most notably SAB). You'll be fine.
