Question re: daughter in wheelchair

We will be visiting Disneyland in June with my daughter. We will be renting a wheelchair for her as she is in a high-risk pregnancy and cannot walk for long periods of time.
My question is: Will I be required to show a doctor's note to prove that she needs the wheelchair? I don't want folks looking at us wondering if we are just using the chair to get special service, etc.

Nope, you wont need to show a Drs note what so ever. Anyone can get those chairs. My best friend had leg surgery last year before our trip, and was able to walk by the time we got to Disneyland, but only for shorter periods. Every day we rented a chair for her just in case, and I was the one who walked up by myself on foot and asked for a chair and was able to rent one with no problem. I was never asked to submit any kind of note.

Definitely not. And who cares what others might think; I'm sure you guys will be having a good enough time that you won't even notice if anyone looks.

Since you know you're going to have it, you might look into an off-site rental agency like Deckert's; much cheaper, and you have it for going back and forth from your hotel/parking garage (if your car can carry it of course).

I rented a chair from Deckerts last fall for my ds12 who was recovering from surgery on both legs. His stamina was really low and he needed it when fatigue hit. Everyone at the parks were great, and I highly recommend Deckerts. They delivered the chair which was nice and clean, and we were able to leave it right at the hotel when we left for the airport.
