Question re: changing which contracts points are used from on a reservation

My Mom, sisters, and I have 6 different OKW contracts that are all linked together and we are able to use the points rather seamlessly when we book. We have several reservations booked for upcoming trips using different points from different contracts (including some banked points we are using). I have realized recently that there are a few banked points left for this year that I failed to use in some of the reservations. Do you know if I call member services if they will allow me to change which contracts we are taking our points from for our existing reservations? I know when I booked the reservations I selected which contracts I used, but now I can't see online what I used, only what I have left. Thanks for your help.

If the contract has the same member number as the one on the particular reservation for which you want to change (which would mean it is in the same names and use year as the one on the reservation) and both are for OKW, then you can switch in banked points while switching out an equal number of regular use year points without first cancelling the reservation and rebooking.

If you are talking about switching points between contracts with different member numbers, then I believe you cannot do that. Instead you would likely need to cancel all or part of the first reservation, taking out current use year points, and then reserving the cancelled days with the second member number contract and then link the reservations, and reserving days with that second member number contract would be subject to availability at the time you attempt the change.

I called member services this morning and they helped me make the switch to use the banked points I had left. I made the mistake when I booked a reservation at VGF when it became available and then cancelled OKW (the OKW ressie had been made with banked points and I forgot about that). I also finally found online all the details for each contract with the history of points coming in and out for specific reservations. It took me quite awhile to find it, though. Glad that's fixed and thanks for your helpful information.

When you click on My Vacation Points, it will bring up your contracts. Then click on Activity statement, select the UY you want to look at, and it should bring up the detailed account of that specific contract.

I am so happy to share these very detailed and step by step instructions because I hope it will save others time.

l. Login and click on My Membership at the top left side of the bar. One of the options under it is "Vacation Points". Click on that.

2. Your member id number will appear and beneath it your contracts will be listed. Click on "View Vacation Points Contract Detail" on any of your contracts.

3. When the contract appears, click on the little blue writing where it says "View Activity Statement". Then you select which contract you want to view. If you have more than one contract it defaults to "all contracts", but you can pick whatever one you want if you don't want to see them all. You can also select a date range for the history you want to see.

4. After you have set your perimeters of your activity history search, click on a very small purple rectangular shaped box that has the word "Go" in it written in yellow letters. It is located just to the bottom right of your search perimeters. That should bring up your history which has all your points added and subtracted and even which points went to which reservations, including cancellations.
