I booked with the 35% off value/mods, 40% off deluxe pin for Sept. just in case we don't get free dining. I booked 2 rooms at CBR for 7 nights, 6 day hoppers, and DP. I was looking at it all again today. If we get FD, even if it's QS and upgrade it to regular, that will save us huge. But if no other offers come, with 40% off deluxe, it would be less than $400 more to book AKL or WL, so I'd consider it. Will they give me the 40% off if I change, even thought the pin has now expired, should we decide we want to do that? I know there has to be availability, but I wasn't sure if we could change categories now that the pin expired.

Yes, you can, if (as you say) there is still availability under that code. As long as it's not a new reservation, it shouldn't be a problem. I just did this back in December.

Thanks for your reply! I've always wanted to stay at AKL and we really like the look of WL too. If we get FD, I can't justify the $600 or so it would be to upgrade but $300 and change isn't nearly as hard to swallow. We'll have to see what happens....
