Question re: Booking Placeholder

My family is looking to book a cruise in early 2023.

We have friends sailing on the WBPC next week. (So excited for them!!) Is it possible for them to book 2 placeholders on their cruise, 1 for them and 1 for us, if we are not going to be on the next cruise together? E.g. They would use their placeholder for a future sailing and we would use ours next Feb but they would not be on the ship with us.

I’m guessing this isn’t possible but thought it was worth asking.

No. It would go against two placeholder rules :

1- The person booking the placeholder needs to be on the cruise booked using it.
2- If you book two placeholders, they need to be used on the same cruise.

Thanks so much! I was pretty sure this was the answer but would have kicked myself if I’d found out after their cruise that it was possible.
