HI All- I used a returning customer code and got a decent deal on a Coppper Creek Studio for a 2 night stay. It will just be my son and I. Could someone who has slept on the pull out couch tell me if they are comfortable enough for a 2 night stay? Or should I consider staying in a 2 Queen room in Wilderness Lodge for about the same price as I am paying for the discounted studio? Are there any other advantages to staying in the Copper Creek Studios aside from the kitchen space?

I found the pull out couches at other studio villas (Poly and Beach Club) to be OK but not as comfortable as the regular queen size beds. I am a big Wilderness Lodge fan and if it were up to me I would stay in the regular WL room over the Copper Creek studio hands down. The Copper Creek studios are a prime example of the de-theming trend that is showing up whenever rooms at WDW are refurbished. I find the de-themed, modern Copper Creek rooms to be completely out of keeping with the awesome theme of Wilderness Lodge and I would never stay in one of them if I could get a regular WL room for anywhere close to the same price. I love the theming of the regular Wilderness Lodge rooms and I think the Boulder Ridge studios are nice too. I know others feel differently so you would have to look at photos and judge for yourself if you haven't already. If you don't prefer the look of one room over the other then I would still go for the regular room just for the preferable bed situation unless the kitchenette in the studio is important to you.

The sleeper sofas are never as good as a real bed. If your son is a kid, he'll be okay. But if he's a full sized person, he'll hate it.

My adult DS said the pull out at BCV was okay for a week. Not as comfortable as a Queen bed

If the price is the same, I would go with the standard WL room. Unless you were really planning on using a full coffee pot and a microwave for a 2 night stay, you aren't losing anything and you are gaining a real, queen bed. I would only stay in the studio if you were getting a substantial discount.
