Hi there, :wave2:

We have not been to Disney since 2012 and have read that starters have now been taken off the DDP. Is this correct?

If so, does anyone know if my DH would be able to swap a dessert for a starter? The rest of us are not bothered (and would probably prefer a dessert) but DH has been known to order a starter for dessert before now.. :rotfl2:

We have the Deluxe DDP as we like to do several dinner shows and ALWAYS like to start the day with a leisurely buffet breakfast usually with 30 cups of tea!! :goodvibes So in the past we have always been offered a starter, main and dessert with every meal.

Thanks

They won't let you swap a dessert for an appetizer. Sadly, that is one thing many have requested over the years, but Disney stick to their guns on this one and won't bend.

If you are on the deluxe dining plan (3 TS meals a day) then that still includes an appetizer but only with lunch and dinner.

If you are on the standard DDP (1TS, 1CS a day) then there is no appetizer and as Lee said they will not swap it for dessert.

We are on the Deluxe, so we won't have a problem then, me, DS and DD will have dessert and DH will have a starter.... we can never eat everything they offer but like the option to choose. :cheer2:
