Hi everybody,
I have booked my first DC two days ago for May-2006.
Now I have to to decide which protection plan I have to choose.
The price for the journey is $3000, according to the Disney Protection Plan my wife and I have to pay $198 for them.
In Germany (where I come from) we have an insurance company that gives us a price at EUR 60, for the moment that would be $77.
BUT, in case of illness we have to pay 20% of the costs on our own (every german travel insurance has this clause). When do you get ill? Well, at least 10 to 1 days prior to departure. So in the worst case we have to pay
$600 on our own.
I couldn´t find out what the terms for the Disney Protection plan are. What happens when you get ill? (I´m only interested in a travel insurance, not in a health insurance).
If there is a cheaper option than Disneys PP, does anybody know an american travel insurance that can be booked by germans?
Thanks in advance for your help
and greetings from Germany.
Currently 90 degrees hot.
Almost like being on a tiny island at the Bahamas owned by a large US company ...
