Do you wear your emotions on your sleeve?

If so, does it get frustrating? What do you do?

If you DON'T. then how can one get to that point?

Yes, I wear my emotions on my sleeve and yes, it can be very frustrating at times.
I think that some people are just more sensitive than others......and while it's frustrating, I'm not sure I'd change that part about me.

Lately it seems as if I do. I used to keep everything bottled in, so which is worse?

No, I do not. Never have. It is not in my personality to do so but if it is in yours, there's little you can do to change it. Have you ever had a personality profile performed (DISC or some other)? Most people have somewhat of a light bulb moment with the results (i.e. so that's why I do that!)

it is healthier to let your emotions out,,rather than keeping them inside...

I do and I hate myself sometimes for it. Sometimes I just cry at the worst times, and then I hate myself for it.

Yes, I do... I didn't for a long time, but it seems the older that I get, the more emotional that I am. I work in a domestic violence shelter, and it is so hard to 'let' the clients leave after they have been with us for a while. I get so attached to them, and I cry like a baby when one of them leaves us.

I know it is worse to hold everything in, but it just stinks when everyone knows how you are feeling because you are crying if happy, crying if sad, crying if mad, crying if hurt..............

I want to be able to turn emotions off sometimes.

Not many people have seen me cry, not many people have seen me lose my temper. It takes a lot of trust for me to allow anyone to see me display either of those emotions. But, my eyes are very expressive, most people can tell what emotion I'm feeling if they look at my eyes. I try to wear sunglasses if I know I'm going to have to deal with either emotion publicly.;)

Yes, usually. I'm easily hurt and I cry for every emotion. Doesn't matter if I'm happy, sad or mad--I cry. Especially when I get angry--then that frustrates me so much I cry even more. It is a curse.

My mother and sister cannot cry. It makes them physically ill. I think I'm the lucky one.
