Question- Please Help

I want to book the Magic Your Way Package Plus Dining Package, but I want to arrive a day earlier than when the package starts Aug 21. Does this mean I have to make two seperate reservations? How would this work? Can someone please explain?

Just call and ask them if you can add a day or if this would mess up your package since it doesn't start until the 20th. They may let you since your original booking was during the special if there is room. The only way to know is to call. You probably will have to book two reservations. If you do this you may or may not have to change rooms. You won't know for sure until you chaeck in the 1st night. Why not stay 1 night at a DTD hotel if they won't add on and save some $$, then move to your hotel at WDW the next morning.

Thank you for your reply. Are you required to buy theme park tickets to book the package plus dining package. If I arrive a day early I would need theme park tickets, I was thinking I would have to book with my room only reservation so I could get them the first day. If I book them with the package, then I probally won't be given the tickets until the day after my first check in date. Do I make any sense?

I think I understand your question and the answer is -
To get the free dining you must buy tickets in addition to the hotel stay. So you are right you would either need to buy one day tickets (more expensive than adding a day to a multi-day pass) for your first night stay and then tickets with the package (resort reservation) OR just do a water park or DTD on your first day. But I would call to see if they could start the dining package after the second day.
