Question on web certificates

I tried searching on this but could not find what I was looking for.

Does anyone know if web certificates can be used on Disneyshopping.com? Now that the Disney gift cards are available I was thinking that would be a good way to use web certificates towards a Disney vacation. I tried "purchasing" a gift card on the web site (and stopped before putting in credit card info). I am not sure how web certificates work and the only payment method I saw accepted was credit cards. (It does not look like there is a charge for shipping either.)

It should work with no problem... I did a similar thing with old navy. I ordered a girft card.. went though mypoints.. redeemed the WC..

A WC is sort of the equivalent of a Mastercard. Any site that accepts Mastercard will take a webcertificate.

I have an add-on question...if I get a web certificate as my reward from MyPoints can I use it to pay on my Disney vacation, since it's processed as a Mastercard? (I have it booked through Dreams...)

I have done this with a trip I booked through AAA

I just called them and told them I had a prepaid MC and I wanted to put it on my account

no problems at all!!!

this is actually the best way to use a webbie from mypoints since you dont need the plastic card in hand thus saving the almost 7 dollars fee
