Hi was wondering if anyone out there could help me? We went to Florida last year and our battery charger would not work in the usa, we had to buy AA batteries to put in the camera.

Well we are just looking at buying a new camera for this years trip its a Fuji F40fd and the camera has a built in battery that you charge will this charge ok in florida with the different voltage.

Hope you all understand what I am trying to say.

7 days to go Pop Century Yipee very exited:

Hi,
If you check on the underside of your charger it will tell you what voltage it will operate on. If it is only 240v then it won't work abroad. If it has 100-240 or similar (most do now) then it will work with an adaptor.
Hope this helps.

Mick.

I had the same trouble last year, had no idea of the different voltage, anyway this year I have bought a voltage convertor, only paid around £4 off ebay for it :thumbsup2:

We have a Fuji F20. I have just checked the charger and the voltage is 100-240v so you should be fine (on the assumption that the chargers are similar).
