Hi

I just went to the "stateroom" link at the top of the page to look at Cat. 6 rooms on deck 5.

Rooms 5142, 5144, 5146, 5148, 5150 and 5642, 5644, 5646,5648, 5650 ALL had a STAR by the number, anyone know what that means???

I also went to the "stateroom report" link and not one of these staterooms had a report.

Anyone stay in any of these staterooms?

I also looked up the other cat. #6 staterooms on deck 5 and only two of the rooms had reports.

Anyone stay in a Cat. 6 stateroom on deck 5 that can give me a report?

Thanks so much!

The star means that the verandah has a solid white wall. Instead of plexiglass that you can see through. The only difference would be that you have to stand up to look over the rail.

Sorry, I have never stayed in one of these rooms, so I can't tell you about them.

We stayed in a cat 5 on deck 7. Prior to our cruise, I found the same asterik next to the cabin # as you did and could not find a answer why.

What I did find was that since our cabin was aft, the verandah had a solid lower wall as opposed to a clear plexi-glass lower wall.

The cabin #'s you mentioned are all aft I believe, so maybe this is the connection. I'm not sure. Other than that, our cat 5 stateroom was just fine, asterisk or no asterisk.

Disney's website does not show a asterisk at all, and shows all verandahs with a clear lower wall.

Look at a photo of the ship, follow the row of verandahs aft, and you will see that it becomes solid with only the upper section open.
