I know I should know the answer to this question, but I can't get it straight in my mind right now. I would like to make a reservation for December, 2007 and our UY is March. I have used my 2006 points and would be using 2007 points. If I make the reservation now, will that require borrowing my 2007 points into 2006? I don't want to do that, because we won't be using them before March, 2007 and I don't want to lose them. I hope I haven't confused everyone, but would appreciate getting this straight in my mind.

Thanks!:confused3

Side note: We leave on Friday to fly to Orlando and then leave on the DCL on Saturday for seven days. Then we are staying three days after we return. Can't wait. Three of my sisters and their husbands are going also. Hope to get out of Illinois before it gets any colder!:wave2: :sail:

You won't have to borrow you will USE the 2007 points to make the Dec/07 reservation.

Therefore if you have to cancel the points will return to the 2007 year and could potentially be all banked to 2008 (depending on the date of the cancellation).

I hope that helps...

Thank you so much. I was thinking that was the way it would work, but sometimes I get confused with the whole UY/11 Month Window thing. Yeah! That means I can get my reservation in right away.

Thanks again!:woohoo:

For those who may not know you can only borrow points when you are making a reservation that will use them. In other words, you don't call MS ahead of time and tell them you want to borrrow xx points - it's not like banking.

Thanks CarolMN. I did know that, but I was just confused as to whether or not I had to borrow 2007 points if I made the reservation before my 2007 UY started. Since my time of stay is in 2007, I don't have to borrow them into my 2006 UY to make the reservation. I think I probably just confused you with my rambling in this post, but I do appreciate all the information on this forum. It helps out alot and saves many calls to MS.

Thanks again,
Binnie from Illinois
