If you buy a 10 day ticket and you stay at Disney resort (A) for 10 days, use only some of the days but THEN switch to another resort (B) (Disney or non-Disney) will the ticket still be valid? I read that the tickets expire 14 days from FIRST use, so if you dont start using your tickets until day 5 of your stay at resort 'A', can you continue using the remaining 5 days at resort 'B'? Thanks!

Yes - you are correct. It doesn't matter when your resort stay begins. The only thing that matters is you have 14 days from the first time you use your ticket to enter a park to use the remaining days.

Just as an editorial - Disney should really lengthen the expiration for 7+ day tickets to something like 21 days. Technically, if you get the PH+ you get (for example) 10 park days AND 10 water park/mini golf/ golf entitlements. If you made full use of the ticket, you could be short-changed 6 entitlements because you only have 14 days to use 20 experiences.

Thanks for the info - I hope your sure about the 14 day thing, because we are almost certainly NOT going to start going to any parks until day 5 at resort A and don't want to get shut out at resort B. BTW, i didnt know PH+ could be used more than 10 days, are you sure that a water park or golf day does NOT count as one of the '10'? My understanding (and I certainly could be wrong) is that you get 10 days TOTAL, and that you can do whatever you want those 10 days whether its bliizzard beach only, or all 4 parks and blizzard etc, but that you get 10 days - period. Thanks again

@MommaBerd is absolutely correct.

Absolutely agree with @MommaBerd and @Eighty8Keys. The expiration on a MYW ticket does not happen until 14 days following the first day of use, with one caveat: Tickets purchased after Feb. 11, 2017 will expire on 12/31 of the year following the year in which they were purchased. So your 10-day pass, which I assume was purchased after 2/1/17, will expire on 12/31/18 regardless of whether you used it partially (as in, started using it on 12/26/18) or even at all.

"Plus" features from the "Hopper Plus" tickets will also expire 14 days after the MYW ticket was first used. The "pluses" are independent of the 10 theme park admissions, so using one "plus" entitlement does not count against the 10 theme park days.

No - you get 10 park days (and you can hop between parks) PLUS 10 entitlements. So, you can go to BB and TL in one day, but it counts as 2 of your entitlements. Or TL and mini-golf in the same day counts as 2 entitlements. (BTW, there is nothing at the Wide World of Sports even though you get "admission".)

10 park days PLUS 10 entitlements for waterparks and golf or whatever else is currently included in the 'plus'. You can use the water parks on the same days as park days or not. YOu can do parks for 10 days then on the last 4 days do two water parks each day and mini golf on two of those days.

You could do a park plus a water park on any of your days, or you could do two waterparks in a day, or you could do two water parks and a mini golf one of the days. You don't have to limit yourself to one entitlement per day.

True, BUT it still would be nice if Disney to extend the ticket expiration for the longer-stay tickets. Just a wish. :wizard:

I agree with you. For me personally, doing a park and a water park in one day would be tough. I can't even bring myself to fit mini golf in on the same day as a park.
